In a tragic incident in the Lake Avenue area, a 36-year-old woman, identified as Anjana Das, lost her life while attempting to save a pet cat. The unfortunate incident occurred around 8 am on the eighth-story roof of a multi-story building.
According to police sources thhe woman's house is on Sarat Bose Road and she was residing in the area for two months. They had many pet cats. A cat could not be found since last night. The woman saw the cat on the eaves of the seventh floor and fell to her death in an attempt to rescue the cat.
